Nappy-free?

I must admit to being more than a little interested in people who don't use nappies but learn to read their babies cues and take them to the potty. It sounds great but a lot of hard work. I also think I can't expect LB's grannies to do it when I'm not there!
There was a story in Junior (which I can't find, doh!) a little while back but you can also google lots more links.
I did find this story on Junior about potty training that I thought was well-written. Of course, I haven't got to this particular development challenge with LB so I can't say whether the pointers work!
